Those clever, clever Finns. Aalto is awesome, but I have to say that Eero Saarinen is where it’s at for me. I hope to furnish a room in tulip chairs at some point in my life.

Aalto also designed a study room in Harvard’s Lamont Library, the Woodberry Poetry Study Room. Its recent renovation has caused some controversy, because many of the original furnishings have been transferred or sold. Here’s a link to a NY Times story http://www.nytimes.com/2006/07/10/arts/design/10aalt.html?ex=1310184000&en=a0132a4d0f83d210&ei=5090&partner=rssuserland&emc=rss
